Speaking of voting; on Novemb

Just my opinion on State Bill 1070.

Please allow me a moment to share my thoughts on the legislation, SB1070, that is currently sitting on Governor Brewer's desk. At this time, she can either sign it thus enacting it into law, veto it OR not sign and allow it to go into law in that fashion.

My adverse reactions to this bill is primarily based on economics. Where is our state going to find the additional funding for increased law enforcement personnel, training and increased court costs? How is this bill g

Spring is here!

"It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed." Napoleon Hill ~ this quote speaks volumes to me.

One of my core principals is service; for my beloved sons, my family, friends, faith, my work and community. My greatest satisfaction comes from assisting someone with a helping hand, being there to lend an ear or a

The beautiful card from my sister

Recently I received a lovely card from my sister and in it she wrote " Patience, Persistence and Perspiration make an unbeatable combination for Success"

First, the card touched me deeply as you would imagine. More importantly, let me share with you that my sis knows what to say to revive my positive outlook when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

I would bet a million dollars that at various times we all are feeling a little stressed, harried and like me - overwhelm

Our Compass

"The power to create quality of life is not in any planner. The power to create quality of life is within US - in our ability to develop and use our own inner compass so that we can act with integrity in the moment of choice." from Stephen Covey's First Things First.

Each and everyday we make so many choices whether in our business or personal lives. These choices range from large to small but each one can impact us in countless ways. Being self-aware of our internal compass that is dire… Continue

ENGLISH: About CEPHA

The Chamber of Professional Hispanic Businesses of Arizona (CEPHA) formerly known as ACOSUR (Southern Merchants Association) was founded in March 2003. In the beginning, there was a lack of support for Hispanic entrepreneurs and to this end, they undertook the difficult task of defining the most common among them. A survey showed that most of these entrepreneurs neccesities are: lack of knowledge in accounting, advertising, revenue, knowledge about real estate, legal and financial.

Through collaboration and concern of a group of Hispanic businessmen from the south of Tucson, was formed ACOSUR. At present, ACOSUR now called CEPHA has become a legal entity with its own board, and with the ability to receive new members.
Members and guests attending the monthly conferences receive educational information on topics related to managing their businesses.

It is also worth mentioning that members contribute their valuable experience and personal knowledge thus is related to our community and the support of one another.
